Matt Howard: “Praising Through the Virus”

God Gold of the day

“Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence.”

~ Psalms 42:5

Praising Through the Virus

Good morning God Gold Family! My name is Matt Howard, and I hope that this truth speaks into your life this morning. Psalms 42:5 is one of my favorite scriptures in the Bible, encouraging us to set our minds attention and our hearts affection on the Lord, praising Him for who He is and for what He has done. Throughout Psalms 42, we are encouraged to always bring our praise and worship, even in the midst of our battles, knowing that God will take care of us regardless of our circumstances. When we don’t have the strength in of ourselves, we can always praise and worship the Lord. We see this in Acts 16:25 when Paul continues praising the Lord through song even while incarcerated in a Roman prison. We can learn from Paul here that there is so much joy, victory and peace through the act of praising God amidst our trials. I pray that whatever you are going through, that you would realize that you are NOT alone in the fight and that every circumstance is a part of God’s PERFECT plan. Choose to Praise him today! I encourage you to take some time out of your day to listen to the worship song below and praise God, giving everything to him. “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” – Psalm 55:22

Proverbs 18:10“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.”

24 year old dude with not a clue what he's doing but God's grace continues to amaze me! Current Seminary student, avid adventure seeker, and getting married to the most humble, weird, and beautiful girl on the planet! Wasted a lot of years living what I thought was the "good life", then Christ showed me what living really is. I pray that my story can somehow help in whatever way possible, to give encouragement and hope that Christ can do the same with you.
